Istanbul

We warmly welcome all Cruise Ship Passengers to the Port of Istanbul. What a better way to see and experience Istanbul than to book one of our Private 8 Hours Daily Istanbul Tour from Istanbul Port.

Upon your arrival to Istanbul Cruise Port, our official tour guide welcomes you at the harbor and organize the tour program according to your requests. Our guide and our new brand tour transportation vehicle will be with you for 8 Hours.

You can see the most visited and suggested places that you can visit as below:

Hippodrome which was once the site of a Roman circus that rivaled the Colosseum and could seat a quarter of a million spectators. Monuments on the site include the Snake Column from Delphi and an Egyptian obelisk taken from the Temple of Karnak at Luxor.

Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque which has six graceful minarets adorn the elegant mosque, one of the city’s most recognized landmarks. Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles.

Underground Cistern. This cistern is thought to have been built after the Nika revolt in 532 AD. It was known as the Basilica Cistern during the Roman period, as there was a Stoa Basilica above the pre-existing one at the time. After the conquest of the city by the Ottoman Turks, it was forgotten of and nobody knew that it existed. Re-discovered in 1545, it was used to water the gardens of Topkapi Palace. Today it has a rather eerie and mystical ambiance. Clever spotlighting makes the water shimmer with colored dancing lights and the water ripples from an occasional fish swishing its tail in exuberance.

Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque. The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, previously known as the Church of Divine Wisdom, is simply the best of its kind! Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque is the greatest surviving example of Byzantine Architecture. For 1000 years, it was once the largest church in the world, decorated with stunning 6th century golden mosaics. Today it is a mosque.

Topkapi Palace, the great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, Harem, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed.

Grand Bazaar. In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more than 4,000 shops with each trade having its own area: the goldsmiths' street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as hand painted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx-ware and meerschaum pipes.

Handicraft Center, which continues to perform one of the oldest arts of Turkey; a carpet-weaving. While they are giving a brief info and demonstration how the locals weaving carpet, you can enjoy your refreshments.
